Grounds for permanent residence

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO?

The algorithm is the same as for obtaining a residence permit on other grounds. First you need to prepare all the documents (a list of them is given below). The next stage is the submission of documents for Visa D. This Visa can be obtained at the Bulgarian consulate in the country of your legal stay. Its cost is 100 euros, the term for processing documents is from 30 working days. A visa is issued for 180 days. After entering Bulgaria on a Visa D during its validity period, but no later than two weeks before its expiration, you must apply to the Migration Directorate of the Regional Police Department at your place of residence with an application for a residence permit. The term for consideration of documents is 14 days, the fee is 10 levs. After obtaining permission, you need to pay a fee of 500 levs. The cost of making a personal card depends on the time frame. 30 days - 45 levs, 15 days - 90 levs, 2 days - 250 levs. A residence permit is issued for a year, then it can be prolonged.
List of documents:
  • Foreign passport, copies of the first pages and pages with a stamp about the last entry into Bulgaria. The document must be valid for at least 1.5 years from the date of submission.
