How to arrange an insurance policy?

You can arrange health insurance policies directly at our office in Burgas: 10 Apostol Karamitev St., floor 5, office 13. To do so you need to have your international passport with you. It is advisable to decide on the start date of the insurance in advance.

Also, if you are unable to arrange the insurance in person, the policy can be arranged remotely. To do this you need to fill in an application, a copy of which, together with the receipt for payment of the health insurance and two declarations, must be sent to us by e-mail: bulgarianexpert@gmail.com. Once the insurance has been arranged, we send the policy to the address you specify via a delivery service convenient for you. You need to return the original of the copy you have signed for the insurance company to our office.

Payment for the insurance policy

When arranging insurance remotely, payment must be made before the policy is issued. Your payment will go directly to the bank account of the insurance company Medico-21 AD. Keep the payment receipt and send a photo or scan of it to us along with the other documents at our e-mail: bulgarianexpert@gmail.com

Why MEDICO – 21?

How are funds refunded when you have health insurance?

The insurance company Medico 21 AD makes prompt payments for insured events by reimbursing the costs incurred for diagnostics, treatment and medication. To do this, you must notify the company's call centre on the day you seek medical assistance.

Calls are accepted in any language, and the call centre also has Russian-speaking staff. You then need to obtain an epicrisis or hospital discharge note from the doctor, along with invoices for all payments made, and submit them together with a copy of the insurance policy, your passport and your bank account details to the insurance company in person or through your broker.
