Property may also be seized for non-payment of the maintenance fee. In this case everything depends on the terms of the contract with the management company. Sometimes it provides for discounts for owners who do not live in their apartments, but in most cases the maintenance fee is payable regardless of whether the owners use their property or not. So it is advisable to discuss this matter with the management company in advance and pay the maintenance fee without waiting for court claims.
