Annual reporting in Bulgaria from 2027: a single system
NSI, the National Revenue Agency (NAP) and the Registry Agency are introducing the "Single Entry Point" information system From 1 January 2027, a new procedure…

1) Subscription accounting services:
The most cost-effective type of accounting service for enterprises of all forms of ownership. By signing an annual subscription service contract, you receive full protection before all institutions involved in the analysis and control of your company’s activities.
2) Annual financial statements:
If your enterprise has not carried out any activity during the year, you can use an accountant’s services on a one-off basis at the end of the annual financial period. All legal entities are obliged to file annual statements with all authorities in any case.
3) Preparation of financial statements:
If your company’s accountant is not entitled to prepare and sign the annual financial statements under the requirements of the “Accountancy Act”, you can make use of this service. Our specialists will prepare, certify or check your enterprise’s financial statements.
4) HR and payroll:
This service is part of the subscription package, but it can also be used separately. If your accountant’s workload does not allow them to handle personnel records, preparing payroll sheets, submitting sick leave certificates and declarations to the National Insurance Institute, drawing up employment contracts, employee files, payment orders for salary transfers, insurance contributions and so on, we will perform these services for a much lower fee than you would have to pay your own accountant.
Accounting in Bulgaria has its own particularities because of the country’s rather unusual tax system, the use of VAT accounts and the distinctive scheme of social and pension contributions. It does not matter why exactly you set up a company in Bulgaria — to run a business or simply to buy land or a car — in any case you have to file reports, and if there is income you also have to pay taxes and the so-called “osigurovki” (social security contributions).
When starting a business in a country whose legislation and rules are unfamiliar to you, and where you are not a citizen, you need to be prudent in organising your accounting.
The fairly large fines in Bulgaria do not allow legal entities to neglect this. However, finding a professional accountant who is also available is very difficult, and offering someone a change of job will cost an increased monthly salary. A good alternative is the services of a professional accounting firm, which saves time and money and minimises all possible problems in dealings with the tax authorities and other bodies.
Our accounting firm “Bulgarian Expert” has been working in the field of administrative and accounting services for many years. The company’s specialists are a team of professionals who guarantee full confidentiality of your business and correct partnership. The service does not require your mandatory presence; document flow can be handled under a remote service scheme. Detailed reporting on the company can be checked on special electronic resources.
