From 15 March, passengers arriving in Turkey by plane will have to submit information about coronavirus infection electronically in advance. Previously, paper forms were handed out on board; now they have been replaced by electronic ones, which must be filled in at least 72 hours before arrival. If this is not done, the airline may refuse boarding, as representatives of RoyalFlight reported. The requirement applies to all passengers, including citizens of Turkey.
The form is filled in on the website https://register.health.gov.tr, then printed out or downloaded to a smartphone. At the departure airport it must be shown to an airline employee.
Until 15 April, a negative Covid-19 test is required for all passengers over 6 years of age who enter the country by land, sea or air transport. The test must be taken no earlier than 72 hours before the trip. The requirement does not apply to transfer passengers and those flying in transit; aircraft crews are also exempt from the obligation to provide PCR tests and observe quarantine.
