As of 1 January this year, the Annual Financial Statement (Годишен Финансов Отчет) can be filed with the National Statistical Institute (NSI) of Bulgaria.
As of 1 January, the Statistical Institute allows the Annual Financial Statement to be filed online in the “Business Statistics” information system. The specific instructions for completing and submitting the documents depend on the company’s field of activity. We remind you that all companies are required to file a statement, including those in insolvency proceedings or not carrying out any activity. The latter, for example, may send the statement by e-mail, submit it on paper, or file it using a Personal Identification Code (PIC) or an electronic signature (KEP).
Companies that carried out activity but whose income and expenses did not exceed 500 leva for 2020 must file a declaration (Annex No. 11) in the NSI information system or, together with the annual declaration (for persons under Art. 51, para. 1 of the Personal Income Tax Act who, at the time of filing the annual tax return under Art. 50 of the same act, have deregistered or are not registered as sole traders), on paper with the National Revenue Agency (NAP), or by post with acknowledgement of receipt.
