Annual reporting in Bulgaria from 2027: a single system
NSI, the National Revenue Agency (NAP) and the Registry Agency are introducing the "Single Entry Point" information system From 1 January 2027, a new procedure…
The fairly large flow of registrations of companies and trade representative offices in Bulgaria by Russian-speaking businesspeople is driven by low tax rates, a developing market and the country's rising economic freedom index.

Without a thorough knowledge of the country’s legislation and the finer points of accounting, most company owners turn to accounting firms, which is less
costly and, as a rule, reliable. After all, you sign an official contract with a firm that is supposed to employ professionals!? But how can you make sure that reports for your business are filed on time, that the state authorities have no claims against you and that taxes are paid on time.
In Bulgaria there is a special information resource for this, containing a full register of commercial entities registered in Bulgaria with reliable information about them. It gives entirely open access to a company’s registration documents, to what reports were filed and when, and to other data not only on your business, but on any company registered in Bulgaria that interests you.
This is convenient when concluding a contract with a legal entity, when you can find out the situation at the counterparty’s company without asking unnecessary questions. Everything is available for viewing in the register!
It is called exactly that: the “Commercial Register”, and in Bulgarian – “Търговски регистр”.
So, go to the website www.brra.bg , in the separate vertical menu on the left select the section “Справки” → “Справка о физ. или юр.лице”, enter the captcha, the company’s EGN or its name, tick the boxes “юр.лицо” and “включить историю” → “Искать(търси)”…and that’s all. To view detailed information and documents you need to click on the company name. Everything you are interested in can simply be downloaded to your computer and printed. That is why even Bulgaria’s state authorities, under the country’s legislation, must not require you to have any company documents on hand. There is no need to make copies or run around with folders of documents in order to show them to someone. For Russian-speaking businesspeople it is somewhat surprising that after registration they receive a single white sheet, a “Certificate”, and in answer to the question “where is everything else?” — the website address www.brra.bg Don’t worry, everything is fine with your company! Don’t believe it? See for yourself!
