This must be done no later than two months before the end of the Visa. The list of documents is the same as for a Visa, with the exception of health insurance and a questionnaire with a photo. You also need to fill out an application and pay the fee for the examination of documents - 10 levs. The identity card from the Ministry of Economy can be requested by the employees of the migration service in an official way. The decision is made within two months. The employees of the migration service also report about it to the Ministry of Economy. The employees of the ministry, in turn, regularly conduct inspections and notify the migration service of any changes in investments, as a result of which investments cease to meet the requirements and are the grounds for obtaining permanent residence. After obtaining a permit, a foreigner must pay a fee of one thousand levs, register with the Community at the place of residence, receive a SCN (Single Civil Number) and a plastic personal card (its cost is 45 levs, production time is 30 days). In addition, after receiving permanent residence, a foreigner is obliged to immediately notify the Ministry of Economy of any changes in investments and at least once a year - about the absence of such changes.
